Ancient Royal City Tour
Sigiriya (Lion Rock) is an ancient palace built by King Kasyapa (477 - 485 CE) on top of a rock and has decorated its sides with colourful frescoes. It is one of the best preserved examples of ancient urban planning. It is the most visited historic site in Sri Lanka.

This temple complex dates back to the 1st century BC. It has five caves under a vast overhanging rock, carved with a drip line to keep the interiors dry.
Kandy City Tour
Kandy is a major city in Sri Lanka, located in the Central Province, Sri Lanka. It is the second largest city in the country after Colombo. It was the last capital of the ancient kings' era of Sri Lanka.The city lies in the midst of hills in the Kandy plateau, which crosses an area of tropical plantations, mainly tea. Kandy is both an administrative and religious city and is also the capital of the Central Province. Minneriya National Park is a national park in North Central Province of Sri Lanka. The park is a dry season feeding ground for the elephant population dwelling in forests of Matale, Polonnaruwa, and Trincomalee districts.
Nuwara Eliya Tour
Nuwara Eliya is a city, in the hill country of the Central Province, Sri Lanka. The city name meaning is "city on the plain" or "city of light". The city is located at an altitude of 1,868m and is considered to be the most important location for Tea production in Sri Lanka.
Many of the buildings retain features from the colonial period such as the Queen's Cottage, General's House, Grand Hotel, Hill Club, Town Post Office and even new hotels are often built and furnished in the colonial style.
Elephant Orphanage & Temples
Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is an orphanage, nursery and captive breeding ground for wild Asian elephants located at Pinnawala village. Pinnawalla is notable for having the largest herd of captive elephants in the world.
The countryside around Kandy is surrounded with dozens of Kandyan-era temples which together make up a lot of Sinhalese Buddhist art and architecture. The most interesting of these temples are the Embekka, Lankathilake and Gadaladeniya Temple, which were constructed in the 14th Century.

My girlfriend and I planned on spending two weeks in Sri Lanka and I contacted multiple tour operators to get an idea of suggested itineraries and to compare rough costs.

2 weeks in Sri Lanka!
We just came back from our amazing holiday in Sri Lanka. I initially contacted 3 different tour operators but Daphne tours stood out because Johnson was approachable and accommodating of our multiple requests. He was patient and prompt in his reponses. The price was fair and all excursions were arranged and prepaid.
We were a group of 4 and spent 2 weeks touring the majority of the country with Ravi. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and had a good command of English. We felt like we were part of his family and met his wife and children in our stop in Kandy. Ravi was always on time and the mini-van was always clean.

Unbelievable Honeymoon
After researching online for a honeymoon spot, my husband and I were set on Sri Lanka as it seemed to embody the best of both worlds, wild nature and tropical beach. With a destination procured, Daphne Tours helped make a singular trip into an unforgettable experience. We had been to Srilanka in 2016 and Daphne managed everything very well. We decided to travel to Sri lanka again this September and with no doubt our choice was Daphne again. Everything went very well and our itinerary was perfect. Same as last time Ravi accompanied us, he is a wonderful guy.
